Legal 500 over Höcker Advocaten

Zij wordt gezien als ‘an exceptional lawyer‘, ‘gives very clear, straightforward advice and is always on top of every problem‘, very talented, sharp, quick on her feet, and always makes time for her clients‘.

Wat cliënten over ons zeggen:

Höcker is a solid law firm, with a long-standing tradition. They are a middle-sized firm for Amsterdam standards, with lawyers who combine a deep knowledge of the law with a long experience and practical approach. Their strengths I know are commercial and corporate litigation in domestic and international matters before the Dutch courts.

The team at Höcker on climate change litigation, tort law and environmental law is extremely good. They have a lot of knowledge in the field and are able to find ways to win cases that others thought not to be possible. Extremely clever and creative in finding solutions.

Compared to other mid sized firms it has a greater in-depth knowledge and compared to larger firms the cost-benefit analysis is positive.

Marc Wolters strikes the right balance between an independent mind and dedicated and loyal advocate, which makes him a highly respected and authoritative member of the bar.

Roos’ and Kingma’s team is close to clients, pragmatic, available, and at the same time have a high level of expertise. They provide excellent support and advice on a daily basis.’

Willem Roos is a very good lawyer –  imaginative, creative, very intelligent’.

The IP/Media Team of Höcker has been around for some time and is solid. Very helpful that they can combine their specific IP knowledge with employment law and corporate law.

I have known Roos and Kingma’s expertise very well for 15 years, their team is close to clients, pragmatic, available, and at the same time with a high level of expertise. They provide excellent support and advice on a daily basis, either in a global way for the company’s strategy, or for specific or international problems. We do not hesitate to refer clients to them and recommend them. It’s a pleasure to work with them.

Höcker has in-depth knowledge of the media business and is at the absolute top of the field. We use Höcker for copyright, data protection, corporate law and employment law issues and we are very satisfied with all their services. Moreover, the lawyers at Höcker always reply extremely fast and the atmosphere at the office is very intimate and friendly. Finally, their fees are very reasonable in comparison to other firms.

For copyright and data protection matters we always work with Marijn Kingma, who gives very clear, straightforward advice and is always on top of every problem. For employment law, Mick Hurks is highly recommended; an extremely nice guy, very knowledgeable and fast.

Outstanding knowledge of copyright law in particular in the field of film.

Marijn Kingma is highly recommended for copyright matters, she always responds quickly and is on top of every problem. Associate Charlie Engels is also recommended‘.

The team is in the #1 position as lawyers to collecting societies (organizations that collectively manage IP rights and collect compensation for the use of IP rights). They are very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with‘.

Jacqueline Seignette is president of the Dutch Copyright association, and has much experience in advising collecting societies‘.
